ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Grand is looking for new enthusiastic volunteers to join our growing team. Volunteer responsibilities vary from event to event, but generally this role involves welcoming patrons at the door, scanning tickets, providing basic information, assisting event and bar staff in maintaining venue cleanliness and appearance, and reporting back any incidents. You will play a vital role in ensuring our events run smoothly to give our customers the best possible experience.
Qualities Required:
- Ushering and welcoming patrons
- Scanning tickets at the door
- Assisting in collecting rubbish / tidying up / putting away furniture / cleaning during & after events
- Collecting glasses & helping bar staff
- Exit flyering
- Provide basic event and venue information
- Assist event lead with reserved seating and those with limited mobility
