King of the Castle (KOTC) has become the annual big skate event in the calendar of the concrete beauty that is Clitheroe Skatepark.

KOTC attracts some of the best skaters from across the North to compete and don the crown forged from skate trucks. 2023 features a Queen of the Castle competition (female competition) and Heir of the Castle competition (U18’s competition) as well as the King of the Castle competition (open competition). Skaters from across the region gather to be a part of this incredible event. 

Great music from a bill of DJ’s make for a great atmosphere, served alongside gourmet burgers from a local food outlet.
