The Zutons at The Grand

It was a privilege to host Liverpool based, noughties indie rock band The Zutons on 3rd June.  Best known for the song Valerie which was later recorded by Amy Winehouse – have a series of festival dates this summer. In preparation for them, they played a full house at The Grand.

The band shot to prominence in 2004 with their debut album Who Killed …The Zutons? which earned them a Brit Award nomination for best breakthrough act. Their follow-up album Tired of Hanging Around featured their first top 10 single, Why Won’t You Give Me Your Love? and also Valerie.
