Following the success of their 2024 production of ‘Yanomamo’ by Lancashire teachers-turned-songwriters Peter Rose and Anne Conlon, The Grand Choir now presents ‘Ocean World’, another of Rose and Conlon’s natural-world musicals. 

‘Ocean World’ follows the journey of a mother humpback whale and her newborn calf as they venture into the open sea. Brimming with colourful, whimsical, and immersive music – as well as some darker, more mysterious songs – ‘Ocean World’ is not only a celebration of the life in our oceans, but a warning for what happens if we continue to misuse them and a message of hope for the future.

With some hard-hitting themes, ‘Ocean World’ is appropriate for adults and most children.

A donation from proceeds will go to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
