We’re happy to be taking part in this year’s Ribble Valley Scooter Rally, or as it’s known in the area – the Mod Weekender!

From the Jam was formed naturally in 2004 by Russell Hastings with 2/3 of the original lineup featuring Rick Buckler (The Jam) and Bruce Foxton (The Jam). The band then went on to tour worldwide. 

Russell and the guys are known for not trying to be like Paul, Bruce and Rick but magically they sound identical and with as much passion as the guys produced in those five years from 77 through to 82.

I just go up and sing the songs how I remember them being sung and I am many thousands of shows in now and I also had the good fortune of playing with Bruce and Rick for many years and then becoming my dearest friends so we ended up sharing the idiosyncrasies of the songs which I guess gives its authenticity. Who knows? It just works and people love singing those songs that mean so much to them!”
