Our hugely popular Radio Project enableschildren to learn all about how Radio Shows are created right from coming up with the original idea to broadcasting the finished show. Tours of both Ribble FM studios and our recording studio give the children insight into the world of Radio and provide opportunities to learn new skills. Children also interview special guests for their show and using the portable recording equipment from Ribble FM to record their interviews. Throughout the project, children develop their speaking and listening skills whilst growing in confidence and boosting self-esteem.

During our final session together, pupils are interviewed live on Ribble FM and help to broadcast their pre-recorded shows live from the studio.
