Make Your Cut presents ‘Two Men Walk Into a Bar’

Thursday 5 June 2025

Free

Short film Two Men Walk Into a Bar will have its premiere on the big screen at The Grand on the 5th June, followed by a Q&A.

This film was produced from script to screen in just one week, entirely by young people of the Make Your Cut cohort 2025. Led by The Grand and Dirty Faces, Make Your Cut is a free youth-led workshop driven to make filmmaking more accessible to young people across Lancashire.

This year, the cohort produced a Two Men Walk Into a Bar, a powerful drama in which two friends reminisce about their younger days spent in an army barracks. However, things take a turn when the pair uncover a dark secret they had once tried hard to forget.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the young people behind the film.
