All the way from Sacramento, California, The Grand plucks niche rock band Tera Melos from a 60-date world tour. Regarded forefathers of the "math rock" genre that incorporates many styles of rock, jazz, ambient electronics and unconventional song structure, this three-piece play a brand of music characterized by quickly alternating rythmic patterns, start-stop dynamics, improvisation, two-handed tapping on the guitar, extended open-ended tapping on the guitar, extended open-ended bridges, and the use of effect pedals and samplers.
